Phoenix Safe Company is one of the
oldest UK manufacturers of safes and
security products and can trace its history
back to Liverpool in 1799, supplying the
maritime trade between England and the
United States with iron banded or iron
clad wooden strongboxes and seamen’s
chests.
In 1986, when Phoenix Safe Company
was formed the aim was to design and
manufacture advanced fire resistant
safes to protect the new wealth of
data information being produced by
computers. The vital importance and
catastrophic consequences of the loss
of this information demanded a new
approach to fire protection.
With our Head Office still based in
Liverpool today and additional offices
and warehouses in Ireland, Germany,
France, Spain and America, we are
now a world leader, manufacturing and
distributing a wide range of state of the
art safes and security products to suit
all requirements, from residential to
commercial security and fire protection.
We specialise in vital records protection
for both paper records and computer
media and all of our fire resistant
safes, filing cabinets and cupboards
are independently tested to European
standards. All our fire resistant safes
carry a two year manufacturer’s warranty
as well as a free life-time 'after-the-fire'
replacement warranty, providing that
added peace of mind should the worst
happen.
Alongside fire safes, we have an
extensive range of traditional security
safes also, designed to protect cash &
valuables from £1,000 up to £1m with
many being approved by organisations
like AiS (Association of Insurance
Surveyors) or SBD (Secured by Design),

the official police security initiative. As
members of ESSA (European Security
Systems Association), these safes are
tested and certificated to the highest
standards in the industry.
We offer a choice from budget to
premium luxury security with bespoke
safes custom designed with every detail
in mind. Adding to our traditional
