New Addition To The Xpelair Simply
SilentTM Family
Xpelair has extended its family of Simply SilentTM fans
with the launch of a 6”/150mm range, delivering high
performance, near silent ventilation for kitchens.
Available in 16 models, the 150mm range offers all the
benefits of the existing Xpelair Simply Silent SilentTM
products, but with an enhanced airflow performance of
up to 259m³/hr, meeting the UK regulation for kitchen
ventilation.
Models in the 150mm range include the Simply SilentTM
Contour 6, known for its sleek design and smooth fascia
and the Simply SilentTM DX150 (pictured above), offering
a more classic look, both available in square or round designs.
Featuring Xpelair’s GhostTM Air Movement Technology,
the Simply SilentTM 150mm range incorporates the latest
innovations in ventilation technology to deliver near-silent
running. These fans use long-life silent running motors and
precision engineered components to avoid all mechanical
noise.

New Dik Geurts Ivar wood and multi-fuel
stoves in High, Low and Store versions
DRU, based in the Netherlands, is Europe’s leading
manufacturer of contemporary gas and wood fires. Dik
Geurts is the brand that DRU uses for its wood and multifuel fires and stoves.
In 2014, Dik Geurts introduced the Ivar 5 contemporary
wood and multi-fuel stoves in a High version for freestanding installation and a Low version for installation into
an inglenook chimney.
Following the success of the Ivar 5, Dik Geurts has now
introduced new models that will be available from autumn
2015. These include a Store version of the Ivar 5, with a
convenient log storage shelf under the stove, and larger
Ivar 8 stoves, again in High, Low and Store options.
The new models have a higher heat output of up to 8 kW,
enough for a larger than average living room.
