Manchester show
is set to delight
The Manchester Furniture Show (1921 July Manchester Central) has all
the ingredients for a superb show - a
great line-up of names, a host of new
launches and a diverse mix of styles,
textures and unique designs.
New launch highlights include
a living & dining collection from
Serene, comprising a comprehensive
collection of dining tables and chairs
as well as 17 different recliner
chairs. Baker is launching a stylish
rustic range called Sienna as part
of their popular reclaimed series.
Its construction is a feature and the
natural finish allows the history of
the reclaimed wood to show through.
Yukon from Rowico is another living
& dining launch featuring reclaimed
wood. This collection has a dark finish
and the rough sawn boards used here
feature a contemporary twist in the
design.
Strong and contemporary is the
theme for the VIDA Living launches,
their new Emerson dining collection
made from Acacia, in a burnished dark
brown finish is a striking. As too is
their new Emerson table made from
marble, which is bound to impress.
The strong UK upholstery industry
will also see several new launches
from some of the biggest players in
the market. Wade will be showcasing
4 new models and 29 new fabrics and
Lebus will be displaying several new
sofas, chair and footstool collections.
They will also be showing new fabrics,
which range from the traditional to
highly contemporary in design.
Another UK major featuring new

Designs, here the fabrics have
been exclusively designed for the
collection. Bespoke Harris Tweeds
are the latest fabrics on show from
Carlton Furniture and Vintage Sofa
Company, their newest designs
incorporate other new features too,
including solid oak trims.
The best in Italian upholstery will be
showcased by Cappellini Salotti who
are exhibiting several new design
inspired by their stunning Tuscan
location and include fresh leather
colours for 2015, also drawn from
that inspiration. The leather theme
continues with Furnico who are
introducing leather options to 2 of its
most popular ranges, with a choice of
4 luxury leather colourways.
Bedroom also sees a host of new
launches, several of which include
motion techniques. Innovative
German brand, Rauch are introducing
their new Synchrono wardrobe
system. This system features
simultaneous centre door opening,
designed to make clothes selection
easier and is available in different
variations and in a variety of finishes.
Continuing with the bedroom motion
design is the newest collection from
Furmanac, who will introduce the
Hestia® Motion range. It is high-end
and handmade and is designed to
create the perfect sleeping style.
Painted is also high on the ‘new’
list with some of the best known
companies introducing new,
or extended painted bedroom
collections. Kingstown is launching
Sophie a new painted range which is
styled to have a modern country look
and feel. Painted will also feature on
the Corndell stand, their best selling
Annecy range has been rejuvenated
and now features new pieces and the
addition of 4 new colours.
The Manchester Show will
