range of colours are glazed with multiwall or solid
polycarbonate roofing that conforms to the
ACR[M]001:2014 drop test with a B designation and
are therefore classified as non-fragile. Choose from a
selection of optional extras, maybe a vertical glazed
panel at one end to provide weather protection, or
lockable roller shutter doors to enable you to safely
leave items underneath your canopy.

Modena Provides A Flexible 2ND Time
Replacement Extension
Synseal’s Modena orangery has been installed at a
detached Lancashire home to replace an existing twostorey building extension and conservatory, delivering an
improved replacement extension which affords a truly
modern and flexible living space.
The aim of this project was to create a large kitchenfamily room in the heart of the house, so the old
conservatory was demolished and the rear wall of the
original extension was removed, allowing the new
extension to project further into the garden patio area.
Key to the design was installation of a Modena structural
orangery with a K2 glazed roof overhead, to illuminate
the wide-spanning L-shaped extension measuring 7
metres by 6 metres that now combines a luxury kitchen
with a light and airy social space.

Capabilities
Following on from its presence at the FiT Show and its
highly popular “Have One on Us” promotion there,
tremco illbruck has delivered on-site training in the use of
its A-Rated window sealants for two dozen installers
around the country; including an Oxfordshire-based
company which invited the manufacturer to demonstrate
the capabilities of TP651 Trio tape where new frames
were being fitted at a village hall.
