ary Andrews is an interior
designer who grew up in
her family’s home-building
business. Blessed with a
knack for creating attractive spaces and
designs, her foray into finance and real
estate early in her career didn’t stick.
Says Mary, “I gravitated naturally to
a more creative outlet, where I’d be
working with people and helping them
craft their own beautiful spaces.”
Today her business is flourishing even
though she doesn’t work in the same way
as most interior designers. Rather than
focusing on full customer service, including
shopping, ordering, and buying pieces for
her clients, she tries to be more affordable
and accessible to everyday consumers. To
this end, Mary runs her business remotely,
