The language of Daniele Daminelli , a prestigious interior designer with a strong propensity for interior decoration , outlines perfect harmonies between opposites , flowing into scenographic and refined creations . A concept well highlighted by his Studio2046 , founded in 2017 with headquarters in Treviglio : “ The location is exceptional , an 18th-century building , the former home of the famous Galliari brothers . Thanks to the friendship with Erminio Bacchetta , owner of the building , what was a prestigious location of the past lives again today , with the same philosophy of research in a contemporary and future key . The studio boasts a versatile soul . Studio2046 is divided between an exhibition space , where we create relationships between objects and environments , and a technical office with a fabric room . The research is oriented towards sophisticated balances by relating different eras and styles in a disorderly and harmonious way at the same time . We never seek the perfection of an environment , but instead the most eccentric and refined balance created by different objects .” The ambition is to make the past coexist with the present , orienting towards the future in a visionary dimension . How does this approach take place ? “ The idea is to tell our historical belief and leave a trace of it . Today everything is aseptic , declined to functionality , therefore not very artistic , but we believe in a current language that can convey the same evocative and decorative power of old art furniture ”. The name 2046 refers to the film by Wong Kar-wai . How did the choice come about ? “ Through very fine photography made of settings , lights and refined costumes , a love story is told with great elegance , lived in the hotel room 2046 , which however ends . In 2046 , the protagonist writes by his own hand a new fantastic love story , consequently crazier and more intriguing .” The reference is to the end of the “ story ” between Daniele Daminelli and Dimorestudio . Can you explain ? “ After 8 wonderful years , I decided to start a personal journey that would capitalize on the excellent work done previously with Emiliano and Britt , who I consider my masters . The concept is the same as Dimorestudio , but I felt the need to revisit it in the name of my future projects . After an initial misunderstanding , we recently embraced each other again during the Milan Furniture Fair ”, continues Daniele Daminelli . Studio2046 is open to young people . Is education on beauty cultivated in childhood ? “ In my case , yes , because I was lucky enough to have my parents , who have always opened me up to beauty . My father took me to contemporary art exhibitions , introducing me to Kiefer and Kounellis since I was little . My mother has always taken care of the house with extreme refinement .
