Modern wishes
Living free , with nature at hand , together with an enchanting and enveloping interior that gives balance and serenity at any time . In such unprecedented times as the ones we are experiencing , the living environment undoubtedly makes the difference . Being able to stay free in your own space , without too many restrictions , surrounded by nature , with an eye always looking outwards , breathing fresh air and staring at the sky may seem like a dream . Having a house surrounded by greenery , enough to be able to walk , run and rest peacefully , is a priceless added value in terms of health and positivity . This villa is nestled in Franciacorta and boasts a large green space , a sort of neatly planted park that is also reflected inside through the windows , perfectly enjoyable thanks to the large porch that becomes a second outdoor living area . The building was started eight years ago and has undergone a recent makeover by architect Mirko Varischi , for a young couple full of energy and dreams . Although having clear ideas about what their home should have been like , they let themselves be confidently guided in the various choices , both in terms of furniture and architectural reinterpretation . They sought an elegant and chic house with large spaces , modern but with a design that did not exceed in minimalism . Wishes fulfilled . The living spaces have been opened to make everything airier and more usable , some walls have been decorated with modern wainscoting that defines the areas with more character , matched by linear but warm furnishings , due to the dark wood shades . Colour accents are not missing : the burgundy velvet armchairs in the living room light up
the background of the wooden wall with a pinstripe effect ; moreover , a hint of a vertical garden immediately results in nature and well-being . The bright note comes from the sofa in white fabric that invites you to relax , given its large size . Even the walls – where not covered with wainscoting – alternate white , which emphasizes the light and dilates volumes , with darker shades that point out the areas . The four-sided fireplace is strategic : like an elegant totem , it ideally divides the dining area from the living room , becoming a piece of furniture as well as a functional element . Moving to the kitchen , we notice that accuracy and elegance still persist and are expressed through a central island with an induction hob , a hanging hood and a cantilevered snack top for breakfast or quick meals ; all surrounded by what a modern , technological and high-performance kitchen needs . In the sleeping area , the master bedroom is marked by a chromatic combination : the walls are dark and enveloping , like a hug , with the wainscoting that hides the entrance to the dedicated walk-in closet ; the whiteness of the ceiling and the bed in light velvet result in a soft and welcoming touch . The customers were aiming for a modern but not too “ rigid ” mood , and here too we can see how their wish has been fulfilled . Everything in each area appears current and fresh , in line with modern times but in an enveloping style full of details . Architect Varischi has been able to introduce them using the right skills , giving personality and character to spaces that have been tailored for their everyday residents .
