ENG . INSIDE OUT ESSENTIAL
Clear and strong spaces , marked by a decor made up of iconic design pieces , define the character of this abode , set between greenery and tranquillity , but one step away from the city centre .
Architectural coherence , minimal design and attention to detail have been the keys to the success of this project , the result of the collaboration between architects Chiara Zoppi and Luca Rossi with Andrea Braggio . Bold environments are highlighted by iconic design objects , perfectly studied to satisfy the wishes of a family with modern and refined tastes . A modern , dynamic and fresh living path that highlights indoor and outdoor lifestyles , thanks to the large windows that provide direct contact with the outdoor environment . We are talking about a two-storey contemporary villa in San Bonifacio , which enjoys a strategic location : very close to the city centre , but at the same time away from the traffic and the bustle of the city . Crossing the front door , we enter a clean and essential environment with light walls and consistent resin floors , on which furnishings with a strong personality come to life . In the living area , we can admire the splendid black-stained solid ash table with bronze ferrules designed by Gio Ponti and produced by Molteni , as well as the Isabelle armchairs by Saba with a double covering that combines the aesthetic cleanliness of leather with the softness of reddish purple velvet , perfectly matching the colour of the sofa by Molteni , but also the Pass-Word TV cabinet in glossy lacquered finish by Molteni , and the iconic Zig Zag chair designed by Gerrit Thomas Rietveld and produced by Cassina . Under the staircase , two large design objects produced by Cassina are the leading stars : Cicognino – a coffee table designed by Franco Albini – and the very famous LC4 Chaise longue designed by Le Corbusier , which acts as the background to an imposing wall of acid-etched glass with burnished metal profiles and a flush hinged door by Albed . In the majestic Segni model kitchen designed by Zampieri , we find an entire wall of storage columns equipped with high-end appliances and technology . Under the window , a row of storage bases acts as the background to the impressive island that dominates the space . Concerning the kitchen finishes , they opted for a metal-effect lacquer for the columns and the bases , while for the worktops and in order to create a monolithic effect island , they chose porcelain stoneware by Inalco , an impressive product with excellent functionality . Upstairs , there is the sleeping area : the bedroom and the master bathroom are displayed in the pictures . The elegance of this room is given by Saba ’ s New York bed in green velvet , which is mirrored on the opposite glass wall , equipped with a sliding door that leads directly to the walk-in closet . The bathroom boasts linear and impressive elements , such as a large floor-level resin shower with an illuminated recess , a washbasin cabinet with storage compartment in matt lacquered finish , and a white top with an integrated bathtub by Cerasa . Throughout the living path , harmony and elegance forge the essence of this enchanting interior project , which makes everyday life delightful .
