Match won by Bonomelli Arredamenti
with an interior design played on a
chromatic combination of great visual
impact.
Shiny and precise like a chessboard,
with its queen that enjoys each
square and each part of this tailor-
made kingdom — just like she wanted
—, this abode spreads evident
strength and charm from every angle.
The harmony between the young
owner and Bonomelli Arredamenti
— that supplied the furnishings
and managed the interior design
together with architect Caterina Pilar
Palumbo — has been essential in the
construction and optimization of this
abode, built from scratch.
In the allocation of plastic and
performing volumes that dynamically
stand out in an oasis of white,
every weakness has been turned
into a strong point, making it not
just captivating but also extremely
fluid and comfortable. On a
white backdrop, black exclusively
highlights three-dimensionality
and creates a sense of movement
in all environments, without ever
closing or weighing them down. The
decor — based on pieces of design
with pure and essential lines —
alternates colours and determines
its extrovert and modern attitude by
designing space and creating precise
references.
The entrance area welcomes us with
a favourable sky of soft clouds and
flying butterflies. The open-space
living area instantly reveals the
relaxation corner, defined by a black
sofa with peninsula and a matching
coffee table in front of a simple and
refined white piece of furniture that
seems to dissolve into the pure white
wall. The dining area features a table
with chairs, underlined by the triptych
of black lamps that fall softly from
the ceiling.
Even the kitchen — a little more
sheltered but always opening on the
living room — breaks this whiteness
with the determination of black
furniture, in contrast to the bright
and chic break area.
The staircase — covered with mirrors
— becomes an impressive and
scenographic element as well as a
comfortable wardrobe-closet in its
basement, thus optimizing a usually
useless space. Upstairs, the sleeping
area shows its elegance, made even
more welcoming and cosy by the
wooden attic ceilings that seem to
enclose the master bedroom and the
bathroom.
