Nel bagno , le pareti e il piano pavimentale sono rifiniti con il calcestruzzo ad effetto “ architettonico ”. L ’ atmosfera monocromatica è interrotta dal mobile in legno scuro , che regge il lavabo .

In an elegant neighbourhood of Warsaw , a bright flat boasts a strong industrial accent , thanks to natural materials , from wood to raw concrete , and from fabrics to bricks . The result is a young and dynamic esprit .
The bright flat we display in these pages is located within an elegant residential complex , in a quiet neighbourhood of Warsaw . It covers an area of about 70 sqm . The interiors were designed by ZEN , the studio of the interior designer Małgorzata Kamińska . In the layout of the rooms , the living area was kept separate from the more intimate and private night area . The first area boasts a comfortable living room , open to both the dining room and the kitchen , while the more private part includes the master bedroom with an adjoining bathroom , a wardrobe and a small studio / office to work . The resulting look highlights a strong industrial attitude , rich in natural materials

such as raw concrete , red bricks , wood and fabrics , which add character and a high-quality allure . The young and brilliant stylist Anna Sałak managed the home styling , paying great attention to detail . The shades of grey prevail , expressed in various components , combined with black , and interesting hues of brown . A very linear element of the interiors is the wardrobe : placed in the entrance , lit from below and enclosed by antique mirrors . The open-plan kitchen boasts a dining table , and the living room features a very comfortable sofa . A concrete-like resin characterizes the floor surfaces of both the entrance and the kitchen , while natural wood predominates in the living room . The industrial effect in the kitchen is enhanced by an exposed white brick wall and structural concrete surfaces , which dominate above the wall units ; this solution makes the wall resistant to both dirt and dampness . Strong industrial accents also mark the master bedroom : the walls are decorated with white painted ceramic tiles with the structure and appearance of real bricks . There is a wardrobe in front of the bed , its door was made by using an antiqued mirror . Industrial design continues as a common thread also in the bathroom : the walls and the floor boast concrete finishes , with an architectural effect . A monochromatic atmosphere dominates , interrupted only by the dark and exotic wood cabinet , placed under the sink . In all areas of the abode , there are very few concessions to colour . The latter is rather used for furnishing accessories – the cushions on the sofa in the living room call to mind some shades already used in the area –, and sometimes entrusted to seasonal fruit or a beautiful tea set , placed on the bed for a sweet awakening !
