ENGLISH TEXT Tailor-made balance The union of two flats is the basis of a “turn-key” restoration: from the design to the implementation, a meeting of volumes and colours with a contemporary taste. Interior design by FAR Arreda Text by Anna Zorzanello Photography by Celeste Cima Armonia ed equilibrio: nel bagno ospiti i volumi minimali rispondono all’idea progettuale, confermando il carattere contemporaneo della dimora (Far Arreda). The abode of a young couple stems from the union of two housing units, ready to embrace a new everyday life. Combining the two flats meant planning from scratch the whole housing space: once partitions have been demolished, the project came to life according to the owners’ needs. In just a few months, the house — carried out by Far Arreda’s team of professionals with “turn- key” solutions — took the fixed forms and co- lours, disguising itself as an original and perso- nal tailor-made balance. Acting as great masters with a scrupulous eye for detail, the team of interior designers matched an unprecedented and well-defined structural balance with a fresh and lively colour palette. The interior — measured and balanced — spli- ts environments, prearranging a bright and open living space next to a private master area with an entrance from the corridor, consisting of comfortable and spacious storage wardrobe cabinets. A light shelf partition wall separates the dining room from the kitchen area, thus allowing usabi- lity and handy but also visual sharing. There is an 8 seater table with an elegant mar- ble countertop; however, quick meals for family members can be prepared and consumed at the counter, embedded in a functional peninsula. Grey volumes of the composition — matching blue detail and furniture — expand in the sit- ting room by proposing a tidy wall-mounted TV stand marked by a large mirror sliding door that closes and hides a useful guest closet, in addition to illusorily doubling the space. Therefore, the contemporary colour duo pain- ts the sitting room too where a relaxation and conversation corner with sofas, armchairs, and pouffes is set up on a large grey carpet. In the end, the private master area complies with the composure and the colour palette of the living area, maintaining a spatial balance between the bedroom — directly connected to the walk-in clo- set — and the en suite. A touch of improved elegance is granted by wal- lpaper that covers walls, in a delicate grey shade with a sought-after diamond pattern. chi Far Arreda progettazione d’interni via Martiri della Libertà 23 Roncadelle Bs tel 030 2780270 fararredamenti.com [email protected] .
