New style and new light for a villa on Lake Garda , completely renovated by FAR Arreda , which has given it a seductive and modern character .
Make way for modernity , light , spaces , elegance , taste , and the pleasure of enjoying everything without hesitation and half measures ! It seems a bit theatrical opening but looking at the settings that follow one another in this project , we must admit that it is all true , liveable and enjoyable on a daily basis and with pride . Basically , the established team of FAR Arreda made all this possible , thanks to a renovation that involved both the inside and the outside of this 1980s villa , making the owners ’ wishes and expectations tangible . Revamping and making the environments performing and seductive was the leitmotif of the new goal , which resulted in a great exterior effect with the glazed

terraces , the porch profiled by a delicate staircase and the pergola that becomes a summer living room . The pool is a mirror in which the contemporary lines of the project vibrate ; it shines in the greenery of the large garden , which is also well organized . Crossing the threshold , we discover that the interior volumes have been completely reinterpreted or , better said , reconnected in a single large open space , which looks out over the garden through the windows . The light is prodigious in some areas and softer in others , so as to create pleasant natural effects that ensure the right atmosphere . The sculptural and sinuous staircase catches the eye . Its shape and the dark note that covers it detach from the overall mood , like an artist ’ s brushstroke . It acts as a pivot in the arrangement of the various environments : relaxation , dining , and kitchen , the leading star of the living area . The kitchen stands out not only for its marked technical functions but also for its design harmony , conceived by FAR Arreda . It features a central island with sink , oven , induction hob , a cantilevered snack top and , on the side , a long wall where the other functional elements such as a pantry , a bar , a refrigerator and another sink are all retractable . The sleeping area develops upstairs and is connected to the staircase described above , which ends with a crystal floor , a sort of transparent walkway that distributes the various rooms , where elegance and contemporaneity are still in the spotlight . The evocative feeling of this passage results from walking in suspension while enjoying a pleasant glance that lightens the volume . The leitmotif of the house confirms the open spaces as leading stars , without hindering elements , to make the daily dialogue easily usable and intensely liveable .
