ENG . NEW AND PRECIOUS INTERPRETATIONS
In the heart of Verona , the present has its roots in the past : a new gem blooms in the city .
In the city centre , a stone ’ s throw from Piazza delle Erbe , Juliet ’ s house and the Scaligeri palaces , Verona tells the story of a not-too-distant past , through the redevelopment of a 20th-century city building , which has always been known as “ Palazzo delle Poste ”. Designed in an eclectic neoclassical-baroque style in the mid-1920s near a neighbouring botanical garden by the renowned Veronese architect Ettore Fagiuoli , the building was the main seat of civic postal services until 2019 . The subsequent sale of the property by the Municipality to a local real estate company then determined and promoted the complete renovation and intended use , by architect Paolo Richelli . Therefore , by taking into account the historical-artistic roots of the building , the extensive renovation has offered the citizens a new and magnificent residential complex ; moreover , it has allowed us to re-evaluate and preserve the artistic and valuable language of that era , interpreting it in a modern key . By giving new life to the structure , a new living contemporaneity has then developed , standing out in the individual flats , thanks also to a careful collaboration between the experts of the various interior design works . In particular , modern elegance and charm merged with the original architecture in the flat displayed on these pages , curated by architect Paolo Richelli and set up by the interior designer Francesca Santinato , a professional of the International design - Squassabia Group showroom . Architect Fagiuoli paid attention to quality materials , colours and stylistic combinations ; therefore , the project has taken up , strengthened and reinterpreted the same elements , providing a layout , as well as a broad and engaging stylistic interpretation . The large house , in fact , not only is wrapped in a consistent and modern dress that coordinates all the various environments but also – and above all – stands out for its peculiarity and richness of details … Such as the refined customized furnishings , the marble and brass inserts , the iconic pieces by Cassina and Frau , the elegant fabrics , and the spectacular play of lights and lamps . All for the blooming of an innovative idea : a precious , artistic and customized living concept .
