Elegant and enveloping scenarios together with velvety wood for this mountain house .
FAR Arreda , with its expert team , signs another fascinating project : this time , in the charming old town of Ponte di Legno , making it personal and with character thanks to a complete renovation .
The customer ’ s wishes led to the choice of materials and the overall colours , FAR Arreda ’ s skills and creative flair took care of the rest through a detailed and precise path , in order to instil a deep sense of warmth and welcome . Wood , a noble material capable of warming any environment , covers the volumes of this house , making it very elegant and chic , thanks to its essence and reference to nature .
In the open-space living room , the three most lived-in areas are configured : the one dedicated to relaxation , the dining area and the kitchen . The result is great harmony and immediate use , thanks to tailor-made furnishings , designed to accompany and optimize any space , making it useful and sophisticated . The elegant round metal table with seats covered in fur is surrounded by a comfortable sofa with an armchair and a reading corner on one side , and by a kitchen with a central peninsula and an equipped wall on the other . Even in these environments , wood covers the vertical elements , concealing cabinets , storage units and kitchen columns , giving importance to each individual piece , such as the metal bookcase and the island with Kerlite top and integrated sink , the effect intentionally calls to mind a monolith . The warmth of wood has been combined with leathers and furs , masterfully used as furnishing accessories : the carpet in the dining area , the centrepiece , the sofa cushions and the upholstered chairs , perfect for the mountain theme that marks the house . There is also a touch of colour that interrupts the wood grain , to emphasize the living room in a green-blue shade , and to accompany the minimalist design staircase , which leads to the sleeping area . Here , the elegance , warmth and coherence of style remain intact and customize the two double rooms , both framed by the pitched roof that creates enveloping recesses .
Even in the bathrooms , everything is perfect and tailor-made for architecture , highlighted in every area and even more suggestive thanks to light beams and LED cuts , or by particular and curious hanging elements , such as the lamps with squirrels that cunningly descend from the wall .
In every season , the beautiful natural scenery that the well-known ski resort can offer is combined with the pleasure of crossing the threshold , enveloped in an elegant , warm and personal embrace .
