project where students were give straws, dowel rods and a balloon and asked to build a vehicle that could
travel 5 meters.

Dr. Jamie Wilson highlighted the district’s efforts to infuse technology into the classroom at the Texas Google
Leadership Academy. He presented using Google Hangout to chat with students in classrooms at two
campuses - McNair Elementary and the LaGrone Advanced Technology Complex.
