Whether you are concerned you may have MS
or have already been diagnosed, a new expert is in town.
Dr. Halima El-Moslimany, a Board Certified Multiple Sclerosis Neurologist moved

Q: Most people have heard of Multiple Sclerosis
(MS). But what is it?
Dr. E-M: MS is when your immune defenses attack
your central nervous system (CNS) as if it were a
virus or bacteria. As a result, the protective cover
of nerve fibers called Myelin which helps conduct
electrical signals between the brain and muscles,
becomes damaged and scarred. Eventually, the
fibers themselves can be affected. Multiple scars
on the Myelin eventually create a disruption in the
signals, leading to varying physical symptoms as
the brain struggles to communicate with muscles.
