Dr. Bruce Markman is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon, fellowship
trained in sports medicine/arthroscopy, shoulder reconstruction, and foot
& ankle surgery. His patient philosophy is to treat everyone like they are
part of the family. He earned his medical degree from the Sackler School
of Medicine at Tel Aviv University where he graduated 2nd in his class.
Dr. Markman went on to complete his internship for general surgery at the
University of California San Francisco Medical Center the 8th ranked best
hospital in the United States. He then completed his orthopedic residency
at St. Mary’s Medical Center and ultimately obtained his fellowship at the
West Coast Center for Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine. During
Dr. Markman’s 15 years of experience he was selected to be the team
physician for the Tulsa Oilers of the East Coast Hockey League and Tulsa
Shock of the Women’s National Basketball Association. He has extensive
knowledge and experience in shoulder replacement and reconstructive
surgery and joint replacement, and has comprehensive experience in ar-
throscopy of the shoulder, elbow, knee, hip, and ankle. This has made him
