Visit us on our website for all your outdoor power equipment needs. You can count on us to provide you with professional service, good advice and quality power equipment at a great price. If We Sell It, We Service it. Period. Our Company History Plano Power Equipment started out in 1962 as Plano Motor Mart in the old Inter-Urban railroad station on 15th Street, a block from old downtown Plano. After a few years, we expanded into a little two-door garage at one end of the building next door. The other end was occupied by a bi- cycle shop. Plano was a lot smaller then. As Plano grew, so did we. The bicycle shop moved out and we quickly filled up the new space with our ever- growing inventory. Our customer base was growing, too. Our reputation for quality products and good service brought us regular customers from Richardson, McKinney, Sherman, Dallas, Fort Worth, and even Oklahoma. They would drive past three or four of our competitors on their way to do business with us. By 1986, business had far outgrown our old name and location. We changed our name to better describe what we offer and then packed up and moved, lock, stock, and barrel to our present location on the highway. The new two-story building gave us room to expand our product lines, our parts inventory, and our staff. Despite our size, our customers know we still provide the kind of personalized service you would expect from a much smaller store. Come by for a visit, and see if you don’t feel the same. Our highly trained, professional staff have a depth of knowledge about our entire product line and can assist you with finding which product is right for your needs.
