Is Stem Cell Therapy Right for You ? Can it Save You from Having Surgery ?

Stem Cell Therapy ; which is also called “ regenerative therapy ”, uses the body ’ s own material to regenerate new cells . This in turn will help in the formation of new bone , cartilage , tendon , ligaments , fat , and other soft tissue in the body . Stem cells aid in : ( 1 ) Repair of tissue that is too damaged to heal on its own ; ( 2 ) Form new tissue that is missing ; and ( 3 ) Provide a new source of replacement cells and tissues .

Platelet Rich Plasma ( PRP ) and Stem Cell Therapy are advanced techniques that can help repair damaged tissue by introducing new growth factors from the patient ’ s own blood supply as well as help grow new tissue from carefully monitored Amniotic Stem Cell ( Stem Cell Therapy ). This will then grow into whatever type of tissue a patient is missing . These two therapies can replenish and restore cells and tissue that are better , healthier , and with a natural approach .
PRP Therapy can help in accelerating the healing of the damaged tissue WITHOUT the need for surgery . Many short tears to ligaments or tendons can be treated with PRP Therapy . This includes Achilles tendon , Plantar Fasciitis , and ligamentous sprains . A lot of doctors are quick to schedule patients for surgery when Stem Cell Therapy and PRP Therapy can help a patient to not undergo surgery .
The procedure can either be performed in the office under local anesthesia or in an outpatient surgery setting , under local IV sedation . Blood is drawn from the patient , mixed with thrombin , and then placed in a centrifuge for some time . The result is then a thick gelatinous gel that is then injected into the site of the patient with damaged tissue .
There is pressure at the injection site . The process is fairly quick after the local anesthesia is administered . The patient is then instructed to maintain the bandage for approximately 4 days post injection in order to let the GEL absorb into the pathology site .
