Dr . Tanveer A . Qureshi
Dr . Tanveer A . Qureshi began serving the Denton County and Gainesville community in 1978 .
He was the first interventional cardiologist in Denton County and co-founded the cardiology program at Denton Regional Medical Center , serving as the Cardiac Catheterization Lab Director for over 25 years ; he currently serves in that role at Medical Center of Lewisville and Presbyterian Hospital Denton .
Dr . Qureshi believes that the best physicians maintain a progressive approach to medicine while working to take care of all the patients ’ needs in a holistic manner . Though Dr . Qureshi loves the practice of cardiology and being able to help his patients both in times of crisis or simply maintaining a higher quality of life , he especially appreciates the personal relationships he has formed with many of his patients .
He is an avid gardener with four adult children and five grandchildren .
