WatchPAT Unified
Providing More Innovation in HST
Simple. Accurate. Reliable. Fast.
Those words appropriately describe the WatchPAT Unified,
now the most innovative home sleep apnea testing device
available to diagnose Sleep Apnea available. This is due to
the patented Peripheral Arterial Tone (PAT) technology that created a new paradigm in sleep diagnostics. The WatchPAT was created to provide
superior patient comfort, while delivering optimal clinical data, with minimal
resources required to train patients
on the use and subsequent uploading
of the recorded data. Along with being
the only HSAT capable of measuring
True Sleep Time, the WatchPAT is the
easiest home sleep test to use for
patients.
So what is True Sleep Time? Good question.
True Sleep Time allows for more accurate
scoring and can decrease the risk of misdiagnosis in
20% of patients. True sleep time, not the device recording
time, improves the accuracy of the respiratory indices, for
severity of those indices and test sensitivity and specificity.
Rigorously tested simultaneously with PSG, the WatchPAT
has the highest accuracy and specificity to polysomnography (PSG) of all home sleep apnea tests. It is FDA cleared to
determine sleep stages of light, deep and REM sleep and
allows for the diagnosis of REM-related OSA, sleep quality
and sleep efficiency. The WatchPAT recorded channels allow
for much more robust data to be recorded versus other
devices that record just a couple channels.
The notion that time is money is not lost on the WatchPAT,
especially when you have a busy office to run. The
WatchPAT can be prepared with patient data
in 5 minutes; a clinical team member can
instruct the patient on how to use the
WatchPAT in 5 minutes; and when the
patient returns the next day, the data
from the WatchPAT can be uploaded
and a sleep report generated in 5
minutes.
It’s that simple.
The bottom line in home sleep apnea
testing is that it must be easy for the patient to
use to get a good night of sleep data, and it has to
be simple for the team when dispensing the unit and
uploading that data to generate a sleep report that is easily
understood by the clinical team and most importantly, the
patient.
The WatchPAT has been used to test over 1 Million patients
and is the most thoroughly studied HSAT available with over
400 peer reviewed studies. The WatchPAT measures six
channels which include:
WatchPAT. Simplicity, Accuracy, Reliability, and Speed that
you can count on.
