Top 10 memories of Uncle Dennis
* Teaching me how to snorkel
* Showing me and receiving beautiful pieces of his woodwork . To this day I think of D & C almost every day as I use my special wooden cutting board and wooden bowls that I treasure .
* Taking Matt and me on the boat to catch crayfish / fish / snorkel . * Showing us his beehive and sharing honey with us .
* Making beautiful wooden signs for each of the chalets at Riverglen Chalets where they are still in use .
* Dennis was one of the models for a TV advert . This footage is still on the Riverglen Chalets ’ website .
* Spending summers with Cathy and Dennis in Yanchep , swimming in the Lagoon every day where Dennis was always on the lookout to ensure I was safe , doing the dishes together , usually eating the catch of the day and home grown veggies .
* Visiting Cathy and Dennis when they were working at Gracetown Caravan Park .
* Spending a summer with the Clunings at Calingiri -riding in the back of the ute , swimming in a water tank .
* Listening to Slim Dusty and other C & W singers that Dennis enjoyed .
