THE FIRST DAY

On the 26th November everyone set off for Denmark.

Some landed in Copenhagen and some went directly to Sønderborg were they met with their host families.

Copenhagen is the capital of Denmark. It sits on the coastal islands of Zealand and Amager. It’s linked to Malmo in southern Sweden by the Öresund Bridge.

Indre By, the city’s historic center, contains Frederiksstaden, an 18th-century rococo district, home to the royal family’s Amalienborg Palace.
