Within the maritime industry, Denmark has an
impact and footprint much larger than the size
of the country implies. Historically, Denmark has
been heavily engaged in international trade and
being surrounded by water and with a coastline
of some 7.000 km, seaborne trade has emerged
as a strong and vital part of the Danish economy.
The global maritime industry is constantly facing
new challenges and Danish companies and
organizations are developing new innovative
solutions in order to stay competitive and India
and Denmark has much to offer each other.
