Auction Guidelines
Silent Auction Items and Packages
The Silent Auction will open at 7:00 p.m. Silent Auction items are listed in
this auction program and when possible, will be on display. Each Silent
Auction item will have a bid sheet with an estimated value and a starting bid.
Minimum bid increments will be noted on the bid sheet. Each bidder must
clearly write his/her auction bidder number on the next available line on the
bid sheet. If additional bidding space is needed, please contact an auction
staff member. In the event of a dispute, the auction official will act as the
authority to determine the winning bidder. The Silent Auction will begin
closing at 8:50 p.m. Bid sheets denoting winners wil be posted outside the
checkout room as time permits. Checkout will begin at 10:00 p.m.
Live Auction Items
The Live Auction will begin after 9 p.m. Each Live Auction item is listed in this
program and, when possible, is on display. The items to be auctioned will be
announced and presented by our auctioneer, Robert Campbell. Show your
bidder number to make a bid during the live auction. Live Auction winners
must pay for and retrieve items during checkout. Checkout will begin at
10:00 p.m.
Checkout
Checkout for the Silent and Live Auctions will begin at 10:00 p.m. When the
start of checkout is announced, please proceed to the checkout room with
your bidder number to pay for the Silent and/or Live Auction item(s) you have
won. The Events & Fundraising Committee volunteers will do their best to
make checkout run as smoothly as possible. Please be patient with any wait.
Payment
We will happily take payment in the form of:
• Visa/Mastercard (3% fee applied to each purchase)
• Check (made out to SCPC)
• Cash
Liability Policy
Everything is sold “as is.” The winning bidder of any item waives any
claim for liability against either the South County Pre-Kindergarten Co-op
and/or donors. SCPC and donors are not responsible for personal injuries
or damages to property that may result from the use of auction items or
services.
