Project: Interactive Visualisation Solutions for Decision Support Tool Applications
My main current professional interest is applying my
knowledge and expertise of games-based interactive
visualisation technology. Problems with arising from inadequate
stakeholder engagement due to lack of proper visual
communication can cause delays in the construction industry
for example. The application of my research is used in order to
help solve real world sustainability assessment, land use
planning, energy modelling and construction problems.
This research project has involved the creation of a novel and
patented information architecture which supports a trusted,
robust and scaleable system which fully defines the trust levels
involved in information sharing across large-scale
infrastructures. This is especially applicable into information
sharing across the public sector, which community partners
can share information on a range of risks.

Project: 2D-3D Visualization and Engineering Platform for I-Joists Structures
The use of image processing and analysis and machine
learning techniques in objects detection, measurements and
classification. I am also working on utilizing an intelligent mathematical method (PDE methdo) for 3D objects modelling and
representation.

Project: Emergent Narrative Visualisation Tool
The advent of mobile platforms and pervasive environments
offers new computational resources for the creation of
interactive drama whether for entertainment, education or art.
This could lay the basis for transformative change through
new immersive media, computer game genres, art works and
educational approaches. Our approach aims to reach out to
creative industries in Scotland toward flexible interactive
narrative structures.
