“I’ve seen a lot of weird stuff. I think when people rode their bikes naked was something that I saw when I was in Europe one time years ago. I looked out the window and I saw a bunch of people riding their bikes butt a** naked!” Demi laughed, “It was pretty great, I wanted to join them.”
She also let us in on what she loves to do when she comes home after a long tour:
“I definitely like to go see my family, I don’t get to see them a lot – and play with my dogs.”
Demi isn’t like some of her young Hollywood counterparts – she’s very reserved and doesn’t publish her public life to the world. We asked her how she keeps her cool in the crazy celebrity world:
“For starters, I don’t go out and party. All lot of people stay in the Hollywood lifestyle – for me, I like to stay in the Valley. I maintain a very chill life. To me, stability is much more comforting than chasing parties and trying to find the coolest hot spot, or whatever it is.”
Since Demi is so chill, we asked what her ultimate night would be – and she had some things to say about the most glamourous events in town:
“I hate award shows, because you have to dress up, there’s a bunch of egos and every year you’re in the same room with people – some people you like, some people you don’t like,” Demi laughed, “My favourite thing is just snuggling up and watching a movie with… um, yeah.”
Was that a hint to boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama? Oh how we wish she’d spill the beans!!
Only weeks ago, we reported that Demi lashed out at some comments made by fellow singer Meghan Trainor about eating disorders – something that Demi has dealt with in the past. You can read more about that here. We asked Demi if she received a response from Meghan:
“No, but it’s not even about who said it or who did it. I know a lot of people struggle with it, even some of the fans that are listening to our music. I’m a big advocate for mental health awareness, especially mental health care in the United States because it’s not taken seriously.”
