capdepera, he has now designed Two over-sized
day beds – wiTh opTional sun canopy.

URBAN.DESIGN.CONCEPTS.

The collection is called VELA. This Spanish word
meaning sails refers to the airy panels of fabric that
surround the two models and flutter gently in the wind,
as if in a light breeze on the high seas. Both the head
and the foot of the day bed can be raised for maximum
comfort and an integrated champagne cooler in the
centre section offers space for ice cubes and drinks.
The foot of the round design can be rotated through
360 degrees to make things easy for sun worshippers.
Both models can be ordered without ‘velas’. A further
option is LED lighting with remote control to create
the perfect mood after the sun goes down.

bezieht sich auf die luftigen Stoffbahnen, die sich um
die zwei Modelle spannen lassen, um dann träge im
Wind zu flattern wie auf hoher See bei einer leichten
Brise. Kopf- und Fußteil des Sofaentwurfs lassen sich
hochstellen für maximalen Komfort, und ein integrierter
Sektkühler im Mittelteil bietet Raum für Eiswürfel und
Getränke. Der Fuß des runden Entwurfs lässt eine
Rotation um 360 Grad zu, die Sonnenanbeterinnen das
Leben leicht macht. Beide Möbel sind pur – ohne Velas –
zu bestellen. Optional wählt man die LED-Beleuchtung
mit Fernbedienung für die passende Stimmung nach
