Meliá group invests IN MALLORCA
The Meliá group is continuing to invest in the Island. Its latest project is two older hotels that will be run under the Sol name. At the Sol Barbados, a 4-star hotel right next to the beach in Magaluf, the 429 rooms have been refurbished with families in mind, and the hotel grounds have been given a new pool complex and kids’ club. The Sol Calas de Mallorca on Cala Antena on the east coast, which has 240 rooms with sea views, has been turned into an all-inclusive hotel. Both hotels will open to guests at the beginning of the season.
Die Hotelgruppe Meliá investiert weiter auf der Insel, aktuell in zwei ältere Hotels, die unter der Marke Sol geführt werden. Im Sol Antillas Barbados, einem 4-Sterne-Hotel mit direktem Meerzugang in Magaluf, wurden die 429 Zimmer familienfreundlicher gestaltet; der Parkgarten bekam eine neue Poollandschaft und einen Kinderclub. Das Sol Calas de Mallorca in der Cala Antena an der Ostküste mit 240 Meerblick-Zimmern wurde in ein All-inclusive-Hotel umgestaltet. Beide Hotels eröffneten zum Saisonbeginn für ihre Gäste.
IBEROSTAR TO OPEN two new five-star hotels
A new five-star hotel has been created on Playa de Palma. Refurbished, redesigned and modernised, the Iberostar Royal Playa de Palma opened on 3rd June 2016. In Portals Nous, Iberostar opened its new Iberostar Grand Hotel in May 2016.
GRAN MELIÁ DE MAR in Illetas renovated
Following extensive refurbishment over the winter of 2015 / 2016, Meliá reopened the hotel in May as one of its Gran Meliá hotels. The fivestar hotel in the Bay of Palma is an adults-only resort, with 144 modern luxury rooms and spectacular views of the Mediterranean.
Im Winter 2015 / 2016 nahm Meliá hier eine umfangreiche Renovierung vor und eröffnete das Hotel im Mai als „ Gran“-Hotel der Gruppe. Das Fünf-Sterne-Haus in der Bucht von Palma kommt mit,, Adults-Only”-Label und 144 modernen Zimmern und Blick auf das Mittelmeer.
An der Playa de Palma entstand gerade ein neues Fünf-Sterne-Hotel. Das Iberostar Royal Playa de Palma wurde aufwändig renoviert und öffnete Anfang Juni. In Portals Nous eröffnete Iberostar im Mai 2016 ein neues Iberostar Gran Hotel.
