Festival MúsicaMallorca presents a series
of classical music concerts on Saturday
nights in Palma’s Teatre Principal, and at
other special venues throughout Mallorca.
The venues for choral concerts and
chamber concerts to be held in churches
will be published in due course.

samstags im Teatre Principal in Palma

weitere Bühnen auf Mallorca reserviert.

und Kammerkonzerte in Kirchen werden

LEGENDS CUP 2016
at Palma Sport & Tennis Club
6th – 9th October 2016
The new Palma Sport & Tennis Club is to
be the venue for the next ATP Champions
Tour in Spain. The Legends Cup brings
together eight tennis superstars to compete
against one another: Mats Wilander, Tim
Henman, Carlos Moyá, Àlex Corretja,
Carl-Uwe Steeb, Henri Leconte, Mikael
Pernfors and Mansour Bahrami. The singles
matches will be played in the evenings
from 6pm and on Sunday the players
placed third and fourth will play against
one another at 4pm.

Der neue Palma Sport & Tennis Club
wird Austragungsort der nächsten ATP
Champions Tour in Spanien. Beim Legends
Cup treten acht Superstars ihres Sports
gegeneinander an: Mats Wilander, Tim

Carl-Uwe Steeb, Henri Leconte, Mikael
Pernfors und Mansour Bahrami.
Abends ab 18 Uhr finden die
Einzelmatches statt, nur am Sonntag
werden die Dritt- und Viertplatzierten
bereits um 16 Uhr gegeneinander spielen.

two 'national days' in Spain and is held
annually on October 12th, the day that
Christoph Columbus discovered the
Americas in 1492.
November 1st is 'El Dia de Todos los
Santos' (All Saints Day). All over Spain
people return from the big cities to their
original home towns and villages.

Fiesta Nacional de España ist einer
der zwei Nationalfeiertage Spaniens
und fällt jedes Jahr auf den 12. Oktober,
denn an diesem Datum entdeckte
Christoph Columbus 1492 den
amerikanischen Kontinent.
Am 1. November wird „El Dia de Todos
los Santos” (Allerheiligen) gefeiert.
In ganz Spanien kehren die Menschen
aus den Großstädten an diesem Tag in
ihre Heimatdörfer zurück.
