Females have been overlooked and considered for centuries as only a personal property of fathers and husband. They were often robbed of their own rights and at times viewed as e imbecile and inferior species. Females have fought hard in the male dominant society, Emmeline Pankhurst was arrested outside the Buckingham Palace in 1914 after trying to present a petition to the king George V, which prior to this incident, Emily Davison threw herself under the King’s (George V) horse in 1913 which lead to her death.
