(Plants and Equipment), and
Larry Bingham (Plants and
Equipment) performed the
final inspection at the Cape
Girardeau Shop on Wednesday, May 12, 2015.
The hard work and due diligence of the Cape
Shop employees have earned the Colas 6S
Shop Certification – Silver Level.
The Cape Shop is now only one of two
shops (of the 52 shops throughout Colas Inc.)

Colas 6S Shop Certification are seven other
shops that have claimed the Bronze Level.
The focus of the Colas 6S Shop Certification
is: Safety, Sort, Straighten, Shine, Standardize,
and Sustain.
“It is very exciting and rewarding to receive
this recognition,” states Tony Shafer (Shop
Manager), “The [Cape] Shop Team has worked
very hard to achieve this level and we are very
proud of our shop.”
The Cape Shop Team consists of: Gary M,
John, Gary Z, Levi, Charles, Daniel, Kevin,
Craig, and Tony. Together, the team not
only maintained, but improved the following
