The Sisterhood Luncheon was one of the highlights of the conference for
Jacksonville Alumnae Chapter as JAC brought home three awards,
spotlighting the hard work and dedication to the Jacksonville community.
Chapter President Veronica Tutt accepted the awards for Distinguished
Service for Political Awareness and Involvement, May Week Honors and
Newsletter of the Year on behalf of the members. Jacksonville Alumnae
competed in the extra large category, which recognizes chapters with 300+
members. Jacksonville Alumnae Chapter arrived in Music City ready to “Move to the Rhythm of Delta’s Beat!” Nashville
Opryland
Lastly, another significant highlight was the election of new regional officers,
several of whom are from the Sunshine State. Re-elected to serve another
two-year term is Southern Regional Director Sandra Horton alongside newly
elected Regional Representative Jasmine Minor (Lambda Sigma Chapter -
University of Mississippi). Other elected regional leadership includes:
