BUCKTOE CREEK PRESERVE

This 300-acre private property boasts Delaware Nature Society ’ s official camping area complete with Adirondack-style lean-to shelters , miles of trails through forests and meadows , Red Clay and Bucktoe Creeks , two ponds , and several small frog ponds . This site is open only for those attending programs .

MIDDLE RUN NATURAL AREA

Delaware Nature Society has helped manage habitat and plant trees at this 860-acre county-owned park for more than 20 years . Campers will enjoy a birding trail , miles of trails , extensive woodland , and the beautiful Middle Run stream .

GRANOGUE ESTATE

2900 Montchanin Road , Wilmington , DE 19807

This du Pont estate is the home for several of our camps . Here , campers experience open fields for games and other activities , Brandywine Creek , an historic stone water tower and gorgeous views of the Brandywine Valley . This site is open only for those attending programs .

MORTENSEN PROPERTY

1175 Pleasant Hill Road , Newark , DE 19711

This is our White Clay Creek location . From our 7-acre site complete with a pond , stream and woods , we have access to White Clay Creek State Park in the Big Meadow area . A large pond and vast meadows in this area make for an exciting outdoor adventure . This site is open only for those attending programs .

FLINT WOODS

350 Twaddell Mill Road , Wilmington , DE 19807

The Flint Woods Preserve features the largest remaining old growth hardwood forest in Delaware . Flint Woods provides habitat for Neotropical song birds and rare wildflowers among towering , mature trees . This site is open only for those attending programs .
