Campus Visit Days
Our SUN Campus Visit Days give Year 9 and 10 students the opportunity to explore a university campus in Hampshire or Dorset. The events comprise of a welcome talk, a student life & budgeting workshop, a‘ Design Your Ideal Campus’ practical task, campus tour, and a student ambassador Q & A. Schools are welcome to visit universities outside of their immediate locality and some support is available for travel costs, where required.
Festival of Industries
Our Festival of Industries events are an unmissable opportunity for your year 10 students to gain insight and knowledge of career opportunities in their local area. They will get to spend the day with two local employers, who will talk them through their educational and career journey which has led them to their chosen industry. Each employer will lead an interactive workshop where your students will be working on a practical task whilst also learning about key information from the employer’ s industry. Students will also have the opportunity to join a student ambassador on a tour of the host institution to explore what university or degree apprenticeship life is like.
