DELISH MAGAZINE JANUARY 2020 retail store with healthy foods ready to go ary Creations Sliced steak, potatoes and snap peas While catering is still on the menu at Ashley’s Culinary Cre- ations, the new brick and mortar allows for the creation of every- day fare. The chefs have created a new healthy dine-in/take-out menu and a meal prep service for those who are looking for fresh, fast, healthy food. Included on each meal is a list of ingredients, calories, and macronutrients which highlight carbohydrates, fat, and protein calculations. Every recipe was cooked and proportioned alongside a licensed nutritionist for accurate reporting.  The meals reflect diverse diets, lifestyles, and allergens and there are several rotating dishes for people who practice keto, lean and clean, and gluten free eating while also serving up plates that appeal to the masses under her “Family” section of the prepared foods. Meals featuring familiar foods for the pickiest of eaters in- clude chicken alfredo, pulled pork with cornbread and veggies and classic steak with potatoes to name a few.  The cooler also offers a Greek salad with fresh spring mix, feta, pepperoncini, cucumber, olives, and pita along with chicken salad, pasta salad, and lettuce wraps. When asked which meal prep dishes are her favorite, Ashley picked the “Egg roll in a Bowl” but then changed her mind to Greek chicken and cous cous the keto gnocchi. The prosciutto chicken was mentioned and the stuffed peppers. They all stand out for different reasons and she finds delight in each bite. “I want to make healthy eating accessible to all people but I also want it to be delicious. I want that for my customers because I want that for myself,” remarked Ashley.  While Ashley is the maestro behind the meals, she is also open to listening to her customers and “seeing what people like. Ashley’s Culinary Creations’ role in the community can also be seen in its partnership with local farms such as McCollum Or- chards in Lockport and Local Roots Farm in Burt, New York. Ash- ley declares, “Our goal is to be all local someday. Shopping small and local is how we all stay alive. When it’s grown from a small farm, you feel connected to that food,” she said. Customers can order online at ashleysculinarycreations.com or visit the cafe to see the breakfasts, lunches, and dinners that are stocked and ready for purchase. The menus rotate each week, offering dozens of plates to choose from each month. For more information call 302-3980, visit online at ashleysculinarycreations.com or follow on Facebook. 25
