We consider Freddie Mercury as one of our role models because even though he lived in a difficult era where a rebellion happened and he had to move to a different country he kept looking forward and studied art and made the music that makes him famous. And he demonstrated that it doesnt matter from where you are, your way of thinking or how you are you can always move on if you propose it yourself.

Freddie Mercury was born Farrokh Bulsara on Thursday September 5th 1946 on the small spice island of Zanzibar. His parents, Bomi and Jer Bulsara, were both Parsee (Persian). At the age of eight, Freddie was shipped to St Peter's English boarding school in Panchgani, about fifty miles outsideBombay. At the age of 17, Mercury and his family fled from Zanzibar for safety reasons due to the 1964 Zanzibar Revolution. In April 1970, Mercury joined guitarist Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor who had previously been in a band called Smile. Despite reservations of the other members and Trident Studios, the band's initial management, Mercury chose the name "Queen" for the new band.
