Coverdale Farm Preserve Mission & Vision
as defined through the Coverdale Master Plan
Believing that healthy food, healthy communities, and a healthy environment
are among the rights of all people, Coverdale Farm Preserve manages
its 356-acre Farm and Preserve as an ecosystem, an interconnected and
integrated network of forest, streams, fields, ponds, food, and farm that nourish
the landscape and all its inhabitants – from soil to stomach while preserving
& protecting critical natural areas. Coverdale experiments to adapt and refine
regenerative agricultural methods to fit this unique landscape by mimicking
natural processes and demonstrating that systems-based, productive, and
economically viable farming is an act of conservation and preservation.
