Dear Members and Friends,
In 2013 we set a strategic focus to highlight specific strengths
and community niche at each of our sites. In this report you’ll
see how Delaware Nature Society has made a state-wide impact
utilizing our nature education sites and preserves. From creating
Schoolyard Habitats in Seaford, to inspiring teens in Wilmington
through educational programs, to discovering a nesting habitat for
Meadowlarks at Coverdale Farm Preserve, to assisting the statewide
Sea-Level Rise Awareness campaign, we’ve made a real impact on
improving our environment and engaging citizens.
Our fiscal report remains strong, thanks to our loyal and generous
donors and members. Our dedicated board, volunteers and staff
make a difference every day, improving our environment for wildlife,
plants and people.
Thank you for the many ways you help us increase our
impact in the community. We look forward to building
on these results and our achievements in 2014.
