Our community is fortunate to have thriving medical services anchored by Ridgeview , an independent , nonprofi t , regional health care system serving the southwest metro region of the Twin Cities . Its network includes four hospital campuses — located in Arlington , Chaska , Le Sueur and Waconia — a multitude of primary and specialty care clinics , emergency services and specialty programs , Ridgeview Community Network ( an accountable care organization ) a nursing home , independent living apartments , home health and home medical equipment services , and more .
While caring for patients throughout the pandemic , Ridgeview continues to move forward with several important initiatives .
2021 HIGHLIGHTS
• Ridgeview provided more than 50,000 COVID-19 vaccines to community members at large-scale vaccination events as well as to patients in our primary care clinic locations .
• Ridgeview now offers families an enhanced Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit ( NICU ) in partnership with Children ’ s Minnesota on its Waconia campus to care for babies as young as 30 weeks gestational age .
• Ridgeview ’ s Waconia and Chaska hospital campuses ’ designation as Acute Stroke Ready Hospitals ( ASRH ) by the Minnesota Department of Health ( MDH ) was renewed . Among other criteria , the ASRH designation requires an Acute Stroke Team available 24 hours a day , 7 days a week at the Waconia and Chaska hospital campuses .
Ridgeview serves a population of more than 350,000 people , primarily from its service area of Carver , Sibley , southern Wright , western Hennepin , eastern McLeod , Le Sueur and Scott counties . The hospitals , associated clinics and physicians have a well-earned reputation for clinical excellence and extraordinary service . Ridgeview ’ s medical staff includes more than 700 credentialed providers representing 45 general and specialty areas .

Emergency Center — located in Waconia . In 2020 , an $ 18.8 million renovation and expansion project was completed , adding 10,000 square feet , an observation unit , new trauma rooms , new technology and more to enhance patient privacy and services .

Ridgeview Clinics in Delano is located at 916 Saint Peter Avenue in Delano . Urgent care is available Monday through Friday , 8 a . m . to 8 p . m . and Saturday and Sunday , 8 a . m . to 5 p . m . ( closed holidays )
