3rd Annual Diversity , Equity , & Inclusion in Education Conference Program April 25 - 26 , 2023
Conference Theme : Creating Learning Environments that Engage Diverse Voices
Our 2023 conference focuses on an important theme : creating learning environments to engage diverse voices . These environments need to be created in the classroom , as well as in the larger educational institution to support inclusion . Diversity can encompass a multitude of student characteristics , such as race , color , ethnicity , religion , gender identity , sexual orientation , physical ability , neurodiversity , socioeconomic status , and citizenship status , among others . The target audience for this conference is educators and administrators in PK-12 and higher education , as well as staff members who support students in these settings .
