How do you get enough protein on a vegan diet?
“I get my protein from amino acids, same as you!”
“There are the more concentrated protein
sources such as seitan, tofu, tempeh, beyond
meat, protein powders such as pea, hemp,
or rice, cruciferous veggies and greens,
beans, peas, legumes, nuts such as walnuts and almonds, as well as seeds like
chia, flax, sunflower and pumpkin.
That being said, protein is in all foods in
different forms, it’s really just about getting
out of the mind set that protein
comes from animals. Oh and
hey, did you know avocado and broccoli will both
give you more digestible protein than steak? True
story. Lets make dinner sometime!”
