“ A DIfferent Girl ” program focuses on teaching girls from different nationalites and languages everything from technology to everyday math problems . I had the oppurtunity to mentor and help these young girls get through the difficulty of being a newcomer to the United States . The young girls were not the only fortunate ones to learn something new from this program . As a mentor my patience and comprehension to new languages and different personalities grew immensly . I could not feel any more fortunate to be part of a group of young girls that want to inspire and help other girls become a better them they could possibly be . Education is very important but so is inner growth and Decidete Mujer makes sure both strengths occur within the young girls .
