MAKING ORNAMENTS AND MEMORIES The Orchards ’ residents have caught the holiday spirit ! They donned Santa hats , reindeer antlers and other festive headbands while listening to Christmas melodies . They were careful not to spill the snow as they created homemade ornaments to decorate the Christmas tree . Once they wrote “ Merry Christmas ” or “ Feliz Navidad ” on a slip of paper , it was popped into the bulb .
The residents wrote little notes to the staff , friends and eachother for their care and friendship .
When finished with the ornaments and thoughtful notes , the residents sang and clapped to Christmas songs they had grown up with . Just one of the special memories made here at The Orchards . Holiday decorating , festivities and fun will be all month long !
