Such a sweet idea! Purchase cardboard or manila tags at any craft store... get some twine or ribbon, and raid your stash of spare buttons! Lay them out in various holiday patterns and use a hot glue gun to affix them to the tags. Hand write the gift recipient ' s name and your greetings on the tag for an extra homey touch! Use a small bow or pipe-cleaners( for the snowmen ' s scarves) as an added flourish! Finish the tags off by stringing twine or ribbon through the tag holes. These can also be used as Christmas tree ornaments!
