1 ) Maestro - Bradley Cooper outdoes himself with this masterpiece chronicling the life of the great conductor Leonard Bernstein . His two loves were paramount - music and a very special woman . Cooper wrote and directed . A must see - in theatres ... 2 ) Napoleon - A spectacle . And it ' s funny ! But no matter how interesting , the two hour , 38 minute runtime should have been shortened by at least a half hour . See it - and pack more than a few snacks - in theatres ... 3 ) Best . Christmas . Ever . - Netflix resurrects names we know ( Brandy , Heather Graham , Jason Biggs ) for Christmas hijinks . Familiar , yet enjoyable ... thin as it is . At only 80 minutes , why not - ' tis the season ! Hey , it ' s better than a Hallmark movie ... 4 ) The Hunger Games : The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes - A prequel to the amazingly successful series , set 64 years earlier as the main villain ' s origin story . It looks great , the cast is talented , but in the end it does not come together ... Unless you are a huge fan , avoid it - in theatres . 5 ) May December - Anybody remember Mary Kay Letourneau ? She was arrested as a sex offender for starting a relationship with a 12 year old boy - who married her when she got out of prison . This film asks , what was their future ? Great stuff here from Julianna Moore and Natalie Portman ... See it ! - in theatres ...

Christmas is just around the corner and Bear Country Radio 99.9 fm is now accepting 2023 Christmas Wish letters from our listeners .
If you or someone you know is in particular need , please let us know . We do what we can to fulfill wishes . When making a request for children , be specific about gender , age , and size . Be sure to include the name , phone number , and address of both you and the person you are writing about so we will be able to get in touch ! This year , we ' d like to continue reaching out to senior citizens and shut ins . Please consider donating snack baskets , arts & crafts , adult coloring books , walkmans , cassette players , or boomboxes , as well as cassette tapes or CDs of music from the 30 ' s , 40 ' s , 50 ' s , & 60 ' s . We will be dropping off these items at places that will accept them .
