PRESIDENT ’ S MESSAGE

Dear ASCE Members ,
The holiday season is officially here ( yet somehow feels like it ’ s already on the way out ), and with it comes the perfect chance to take a breath , look back on the year , and start thinking about what ’ s ahead . December is always a whirlwind , but it ’ s also a great time to reflect on everything we ’ ve accomplished and what we want to achieve in 2025 .
As we wrap up 2024 , I encourage you to set aside a little time to think about your personal and professional goals for the coming year . Whether it ’ s learning a new skill , tackling a big project , or just finding more balance in your day-to-day life , now is the time to plan for what ’ s next . The start of a new year is a clean slate , and it ’ s exciting to think about the opportunities ahead .
Of course , December isn ’ t just about reflection — it ’ s also about connection . I hope you ’ ll take time this month to enjoy the season with your family , friends , and colleagues . Whether you ’ re attending holiday gatherings or just savoring some quiet moments at home , these are the times that recharge us and remind us of what really matters amidst all the madness in today ’ s world .
As we look to 2025 , we would love to hear from you about how you ’ d like to be more involved with ASCE . There are many opportunities available depending on what you are most interested in being specifically involved with , so please don ’ t hesitate to reach out to us for more information . We are excited to continue with our Section growth and increase our scholarship awards each year .
As always , thank you all for being part of ASCE and for your continued support throughout the year . Wishing you and your families a wonderful holiday season and a Happy New Year !
See you all in 2025 and stay tuned for some great events we have coming up over the winter !
