Step 1
These are the tools I have used to create with . The brands are the ones I prefer to use for this but you can use whatever you already have or what ' s available to you locally for similar results .

Step 2
I used one drop of Avocado to make the lightest shade , two drops of Moss to make the middle tone and three drops of Forest Green for the darkest green .

Step 3
To make this cake you ' ll need a single layer cake iced completely in a neutral or white buttercream . I used a 7 " cake but feel free to bake whatever size you prefer .

Using a sheet of baking paper larger than your cake , roughly draw half of a basic Christmas tree shape with an edible marker . If you aren ' t confident with size , draw the outline of the tin you used before drawing the shape inside it on the right . |
