In April of 2020 , Frank A . Lombardi and Mary-Joy (“ MJ ”) Howes formed Lombardi Law Group , LLC , a boutique law firm that focuses on condominium law involving condominium associations , their boards , unit owners , property managers , developers , association lenders and other vendors . Both born and raised in Rhode Island , Frank and MJ have their fingers on the pulse of the most critical issues involving Rhode Island condominiums . They have combined almost 50 years of experience in this unique area of the law and currently consult on approximately 200 association-related cases throughout Rhode Island . Issues include document interpretation , drafting and revision , assessment collection , contract review and board and unit owner dispute resolution . Frank and MJ have helped countless clients navigate the nuances of community association law and resolve a variety of complex issues that arise in a residential , multi-family setting where , as Frank says , “ although we humans are social beings , we were really never meant to live together .”
