The Rhode Island Black Business Association ( RIBBA ) is a trusted , independent membership association that helps entrepreneurs and professionals of color achieve economic stability and prosperity – creating a more equitable business environment in RI . By providing crucial services , such as technical assistance , business skills training , leadership development , mentorship , financial literacy , networking , access to capital and microloans , RIBBA is able to advocate for and ensure that the current and future Black , Indigenous , & Person of Color ( BIPOC ) business community ' s needs are met . RIBBA acts as a bridge with an integrated system of accessible resources and relevant information that equips businesses , professionals , and young adults with the skills , resources , confidence , and connections to achieve their goals .
